Participants from at least six countries have already expressed interest in competing, making Ka\u0161tela the centre of the sailing world in 2026. This recognition affirms our marina as a top destination for sports competitions and further strengthens our reputation among sailing enthusiasts.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Being chosen to host the ILCA Senior Open European Championships and Open European Trophy 2026 is not only a major sporting achievement, but also a valuable opportunity for the local community. The event will provide a significant economic boost to the tourism and gastronomic sector as well as the local artisans and craftsmen.
