Marina Kaštela is committed to ongoing development aimed at minimising air emissions by implementing highly efficient filtration systems and other pollution-reducing technologies. Our goal is to comply with the strictest environmental standards to achieve a high level of environmental protection.

The conservation of water resources is of utmost importance to us. Water treatment systems are installed in our plants to reduce the negative impact on the marine and other environment. We use water in a way that minimises consumption and ensures the conservation of water resources for future generations.

Our mission

Sustainable development holds a central place within the business strategy and operational activities of Marine Kaštela d.o.o. We recognise the importance of conserving natural resources, protecting the environment, and managing responsibly to ensure the long-term sustainability of our business and the local community.

Our mission is to provide superior services in the field of nautical tourism, while reducing our ecological footprint and promoting sustainable practices among our users and partners.

Our initiatives

  1. Energy efficiency
    • Solar panels: We are in the midst of implementing solar panels on our facilities to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources and reduce CO2 emissions.
    • LED lighting: We have replaced the old lighting with LED lighting, which consumes less energy and has a longer lifespan.
  2. Waste management
    • Recycling: We have introduced systems and recycling yards to recycle paper, plastic, glass, and metal throughout the marina.
    • Plastic reduction: We are actively working to reduce the use of disposable plastics and encourage the use of biodegradable and reusable materials.
  3. Protection of the marine ecosystem
    • Underwater cleaning: We regularly organise underwater cleaning campaigns with our divers and volunteers.
