- Marine Kaštela d.o.o. announces a call for applications for scholarships to full-time students and pupils in the field of nautical studies and tourism activities.
- All full-time undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, full-time undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Economics, and pupils of the secondary Tourism and Hospitality School and Industrial School are eligible to apply.
- Scholarships are awarded with the aim of encouraging and supporting young talented individuals who strive to achieve their educational goals in the activities present in Marina Kaštela.
- By awarding scholarships, Marina Kaštela enables the financing of tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation costs or other relevant costs related to education.

WE OFFER MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIPS, INTERNSHIPS, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
- Pupils will receive a scholarship of EUR 100 euros net per month for 9 months, while students will receive EUR 150 net per month for 10 months.
- Possibility for pupils and students to gain practical knowledge and apply theoretical knowledge in a real work environment through professional practice.
- Possibility of preparing a graduation thesis for seniors
- Possibility of employment upon completion of school/university, in accordance with the employer’s needs.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- or A full-time undergraduate and graduate student of the Faculty of Maritime Studies or the Faculty of Economics, or a pupil of the secondary Tourism and Hospitality School orIndustrial School.
- Demonstrates excellence in academic achievements or relevant areas
- Holds a certificate of enrolment or is already enrolled in the appropriate educational programme.
- Demonstrates motivation and commitment to achieving goals in the nautical field.
- Has submitted the complete documentation specified in the call for applications.
PUPIL/STUDENT PARTICIPATION CRITERIA:
- Place of residence registered in one of the following municipalities: Kaštela, Solin, Split, Trogir, or Klis
- Enrolled full-time for the school or academic year for which the call is announced.
- PUPILS: enrolled full-time in the third or fourth year of one of the listed secondary schools
- STUDENTS: enrolled full-time in the second or third year of one of the listed undergraduate or professional study programmes or in the first or second year of one of the listed graduate or specialist study programmes in one of the listed majors.
These criteria ensure that only qualified candidates from certain areas have the opportunity to participate and obtain scholarships and other benefits provided by Marine Kaštela d.o.o.
DOCUMENTATION TO BE ATTACHED TO THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
- Application form (DOWNLOAD: Application form for awarding the Marina Kaštela scholarship)
- Short CV.
- Certificate of residence.
- Proof of academic excellence or other relevant academic achievements, such as report cards, awards, recommendations.
- Certificate of enrolment or a transcript of records for students, i.e. a certificate of current education for secondary school pupils.
- Copy of an ID card.
- Academic record, including grade point averages during previous forms or previous studies.
- Student’s statement to certify that they are not a beneficiary of another binding scholarship.
- Certificate of the amount of incomes of joint household members issued by the competent Tax Administration of the Ministry of Finance, containing data on the average monthly income per household member for the period from 1 January to 30 September of the current year.
- Cover letter explaining the reasons for applying for the scholarship and personal goals in the nautical and tourism field.

The deadline for submitting the application is 10.12.2024 at the latest. We ask candidates to state “Scholarship application – Name Surname” in the subject of the e-mail. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the submitted documentation and a possible interview with the selected candidates.
