Once again this year, the Mirno More – Marina Kaštela Association has arranged special benefits for its crews, fostering a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout their stay in Kaštela.
Participants sailed on four yachts provided by BavAdria Yachting and had access not only to the boats but also to all facilities at Marina Kaštela – from the swimming pool and sports hall to the marina’s hospitality services. Such generous support ensured a carefree and comfortable week at sea, with everything they needed for a fulfilling and successful experience.
The seven-day voyage offered much more than sailing alone. The programme included educational workshops, joint activities, and content aimed at fostering inclusion, tolerance, and mutual respect. Children, youth, and adults from various socially vulnerable groups, through shared life on board, learned teamwork, developed a sense of responsibility, and formed friendships that rose above the challenges of everyday life.
The Association’s president, Luka Berket, emphasised that sport and the sea could be a powerful tool for learning and personal growth:
“Sailing brings people together, brakes down barriers, and builds trust. Through experiences like these, participants not only gain new knowledge but also learn how cooperation, respect, and solidarity could overcome all differences.”
Thanks to the support of Marina Kaštela and BavAdria Yachting, participants of the Mirno More Peace Fleet project once again sailed the Adriatic in an environment that fostered togetherness and mutual understanding, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
