From 4 to 6 October 2024, Split will become the centre of one of the most important nautical events in the region – the CROYA Yacht Charter Show. This prestigious international exhibition of crewed yachts brings together leading experts and professionals from the charter industry, and Marina Kaštela will be presented as one of the exhibitors. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the facilities and services of the marina, and future expansion plans will be announced. The show programme is rich in contents and events that will attract the attention of sailing enthusiasts.
Program of the show:
4 October – Friday
The show will officially begin with the opening of the exhibition area at 9:30 a.m. During the day, visitors will be able to see impressive yachts, and the Designer Water Competition organised by the CYBA will be held at the same time. After the lunch break, the viewing of the yachts continues until evening. The opening ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Ambasador Hotel, followed by a welcome and a party at the Fabrique Pub.
5 October – Saturday
The second day of the show begins with an interesting morning seminar “Croatia: A desirable nautical destination”, organised by the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
The traditional 93rd Mrdujska regata, the largest cruiser regatta in the Adriatic, will be held at 11:00 a.m. as part of the Split Sailing Festival. The start of the regatta will be in the City Port of Split, and participants of the CROYA Yacht Charter Show are invited to cheer on the competitors.
In addition to the viewing of the yachts, a chefs’ competition will also be held, while the viewing of the vessels will continue in the afternoon hours. The evening will be brightened by a special attraction, “Yacht Hop Night”, during which visitors will be able to visit more yachts in a relaxed atmosphere.
6 October – Sunday
The last day of the show begins with a seminar on charter rules and VAT, with a presentation of Croatia as a year-round nautical destination. The afternoon hours bring the awards ceremony for the chefs’ competition and the CYBA water competition. The official closing of the show is planned at 7:00 p.m., followed by a gala dinner in the Cellars of Diocletian’s Palace and a party for the crew in the Pergoletta bar.
