- In the area of Marina Kaštela Nautical Tourism Port, the Mega yacht berths consist of two piers approximately 8 m wide, intended for mooring vessels, located on the southern side of the existing breakwater. The length of the western pier is approximately 94 m. The length of the eastern pier is approximately 115.5 m. Structurally, the piers are designed as reinforced concrete spatial frame structures, founded on two rows of piles with immersed wave-damping panels on both sides.
- The piers are interconnected by a reinforced concrete structure approximately 8 m wide, also founded on two rows of piles with immersed wave-damping panels on both sides. This connecting area enables fire-fighting vehicles to access all parts of the Mega yacht berths.
- The new Mega yachts berths quay will be equipped with rubber fenders and bollards.
Mooring draft:
- Draft of the eastern pier: -2.7 m to -14 m
- Draft of the western pier: -9 m to -14 m
The mooring system features buoys that are adjustable to the size of Mega yachts for long-term stays.
Piers equipment:
- 32 yacht service pedestals are planned on the piers, each with the following connections:
- 1 × socket 4P+E, 32 A, 400 V
- 2 × sockets 4P+E, 125 A, 400 V
- 2 × water taps
- Vacuum system for black-tank pumping from vessels is planned along the centre of the connecting quay.
